Cobra Kai: How Hawk Is Dangerously Following In Dutch’s Footsteps

What’s next for Hawk in season 4 of Cobra Kai

Cobra Kai has surprised everyone by being one of the most enjoyable shows on TV right now. Seeing the continuation of Johnny Lawrence and Daniel LaRusso’s rivalry has been a delight, and the show has constantly surprised us with the way it handles its story. Sure, there’s a lot of awesome karate happening almost every episode, but the show has also done a great job in building out its ensemble cast to make us really care for the young teens.

The most conflicted of the new cast has to be Hawk, aka Eli Moskowitz. Before rocking the mohawk, the tattoo and becoming the biggest bully around, Hawk was just a nervous, shy, socially awkward teen who got bullied a lot himself. Of course, the karate changed things and we saw Hawk go from bullied to bully. His anger and his rage made him one of the biggest villains in the show, and his story is surprisingly similar to another member of The Karate Kid’s original cast, Dutch. Turns out these two have a lot in common!

Dutch was Johnny’s right-hand man and was arguably the worst bully on the team. You could tell he loved tormenting those he considered weaker than him and made Daniel’s life tough. So because Dutch and Hawk are so similar, does that mean Hawk will follow in Dutch’s footsteps? As of now, Dutch is in jail and still seems like the angry criminal he was back then, and although Hawk has made strides recently to become a good guy again, can it last? Or will Hawk give into his dark temptations once again?
